Team Up with Us

Santa Barbara and the adjoining Santa Ynez Valley offer the ideal destination running experience. Held on May 12, 2012, Mother's Day weekend, it's the perfect time to visit this haven for outdoor recreation.

Away from the hustle and bustle of the big city, the area has plenty to offer including beach and ocean activities, historic towns and missions, great shopping and restaurants, and an abundance of wineries and tasting rooms. And you'll LOVE this scenic course dotted with ranches, fruit orchards, a lavender farm and vineyards as you run from downtown Santa Ynez through Los Olivos into the Danish-settled town of Solvang.

Autism Speaks is honored to have been selected to have 25 individuals participate in this wonderful event. As a part of this commitment, you will be asked to raise a minimum of $600 to support Autism Speaks and its mission to raise awareness and funds for autism research and programs.

2012 Team Up! with Autism Speaks benefits include, but are not limited to:

* Event Race Entry - includes moisture-wicking event running shirt, finisher's medal, personalized runner's bib with logo, finishers certificate provided by Brightroom.com, transportation to/from race start and finish from designated parking areas (transportation from Santa Barbara requires an additional charge), chip timing system and results, and much more.

* Team Up! with Autism Speaks Runners Tank, Long Sleeve, and a Autism Speaks hat

* Pre-Race private team dinner for you and a guest, location TBA

* Customized fundraising page for your usage to raise money thru Kintera

* Facebook Page for speaking with other team members regarding training

* Virtual Coaching by a certified running coach

* Fundraising Tips and Opportunities

* Dedicated Autism Speaks staff to answer questions you have and assist
