Autism Speaks U to Soon Debut on Xavier’s Campus

One of the newest clubs on campus is Autism Speaks U. “Autism Speaks U was founded to improve the lives of those with autism by funding global, biomedical research to the causes, treatments and better diagnosis of autism,” Emily Riepenhoff, Autism Speaks U president, said.

New EC Organization Sheds Light on Autism Awareness

Co-presidents Lindsay Frankel and Tracy Hefferan established the chapter at Elmhurst after attending an Autism Speaks walk in January. The two juniors have already put blue filters on the Frick Center’s patio lights for autism awareness month.
