Rally your friends, families, and colleagues to help Bike to the Beach for Autism touch lives across the country! This summer, we will cycle from Washington, DC to Bethany Beach, DE in support of a common goal -- to find the causes, effective treatments and a cure for Autism.

On August 1st, 2008, B2B will host its annual 120-mile Bike to the Beach, charity bike ride, from Washington DC to Bethany Beach DE. The route will take members over the hilly back roads to Annapolis and the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. After a short bus ride, over the bridge the riders will re-mount their bicycles for a ride on route 404 that will take them past farms, through small towns of Eastern Maryland, and across the state of Delaware. The ride will terminate at the Bethany Beach, DE boardwalk, where riders will be met by a welcoming party.

All proceeds from the charity ride will be donated to our non-profit partner Autism Speaks, a 501(c)3 nonprofit that is the world's largest autism advocacy organization (EIN 20-2329938).

Last year, in our inaugural fundraising event, 21 participants came out and helped raise over $23,000. Our goal this year is to raise over $100,000! And, thanks to the help of our Event Sponsor, Coakley Williams Construction, we are already well on our way!

But don't stop at $500 -- There will be great prizes (including several brand new iPod Touch's) for the top fundraisers!
